LRCSS will continue to offer virtual services for all clients as the stay-at-home order is extended to June 2nd

On Thursday, May 13th our provincial government announced an extension to our current stay-at-home order. The order will now be in effect until June 2, 2021. Although this is news that many of us did not want to hear, we all want to continue to do our part to see the COVID case numbers decrease so we can open up safely and not return to another lockdown.

On Friday, April 16, 2021, our Provincial Government introduced further restrictions across Ontario. At this time we have decided to suspend all in-person service. We will continue to monitor the situation in Ontario and provide another update, regarding service, by Friday, May 7, 2021.

As of 12:01 am Thursday, April 8, 2021, the Province of Ontario will be in a ‘stay at home’ order as announced by Premier Ford today. During this ‘stay at home’ order, Lake Ridge Community Support Services will remain open to continue offering both in-person and virtual services during this period.

LRCSS returning to in-person service in response to recent re-opening of Durham Schools

Today our government announced that Durham Region school boards will be returning to in-person learning on Monday, February 8, 2021. In response to this announcement, Lake Ridge will also be working on returning to in-person service, based on appropriateness, effective Monday, February 8, 2021.
