LRCSS returning to in-person service in response to recent re-opening of Durham Schools
On behalf of the entire team at Lake Ridge Community Support Services, we hope that all the families we support are doing well in these unusual and challenging times as we continue to do our best to stay engaged with each of them through telehealth services.
Today our government announced that Durham Region school boards will be returning to in-person learning on Monday, February 8, 2021. In response to this announcement, Lake Ridge will also be working on returning to in-person service, based on appropriateness, effective Monday, February 8, 2021.
If you are currently working with our team at Lake Ridge Community Support Services and have had service shifted to virtual or suspended due to public health recommendations your clinician will be communicating with you throughout the balance of this week and into next week to decide what the most appropriate next steps are for your individualized service.
We appreciate the patience shown by all our families and the entire community as we continue to be socially responsible and responsive to the COVID-19 situation to the best of our ability, by following the guidelines set out by our government. The health and safety of clients, families and staff continue to be our priority. We know this is not easy or preferred for most people and recognize the need to start moving forward resuming services.

We look forward to seeing our clients back in service as soon as possible! Please continue to follow the provincial COVID-19 guidelines and stay safe.
Thank you,
Sandie Hoskin
