LRCSS will continue to offer virtual services for all clients as the stay-at-home order is extended to June 2nd

Friday, May 14, 2021

On Thursday, May 13th our provincial government announced an extension to our current stay-at-home order. The order will now be in effect until June 2, 2021. Although this is news that many of us did not want to hear, we all want to continue to do our part to see the COVID case numbers decrease so we can open up safely and not return to another lockdown. Summer is just around the corner and I am sure we are all hoping to get outside and see our family and friends again.

As the stay-at-home order remains in place we will continue to offer virtual services for all clients. Your clinician will work with you to assess your service needs based on your current, individualized, situation. We are all doing our part to stay safe and stop the spread.

We can all agree that this isn’t the situation we want to be in and we will do our best to continue offering our service most safely and effectively. Our clients, families, and staff's health and well-being are very important to us, and we continue to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 as well as the highly contagious, and dominant, variants.

Please continue to follow all guidelines outlined by Ontario Public Health to keep you and your family safe.

Sincerely,

Sandie Hoskin Executive Director
