LRCSS goes back to virtual after Premier Ford announces state of emergency on January 12, 2021

12-JAN-21 - WHITBY

As Ontario continues to experience an increase in COVID-19 cases and with the current COVID-19 modelling released today, Premier Ford made an announcement this afternoon regarding our province going into a ‘state of emergency’ with a ‘stay at home’ order effective 12:01 am Thursday, January 14, 2021.

In order to be responsible and responsive to today’s announcement, Lake Ridge Community Support Services will be moving back to virtual services only, effective Thursday, January 14, 2021.  Following public health and safety guidelines is a priority for our Agency as is the health and safety of our clients, families and staff.  We want to continue to protect our clients, families and staff and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

As the situation continues to evolve with COVID-19 we, at Lake Ridge, appreciate your support and understanding as we strive to safely navigate this pandemic.  We will continue to monitor the situation and notify you when we can start to return to in-person services.
