Let’s Make ABA available to All
Help us empower Durham’s autistic and intellectually disabled community!
There are over 266 children and youth with autism waiting for access to the ABA programs at LRCSS. That doesn’t include those with intellectual disabilities and adults waiting for access. Help us build the capacity to reduce or eliminate costs for families and get more people into service. Support our capacity-building initiative the #ABAforAll Campain!
Everyone can achieve their unique potential with the right support.
Many autistic individuals and those with intellectual disabilities will rely on therapy like applied behaviour analysis throughout their lives to accomplish things many of us take for granted while adapting to a world that doesn’t meet their needs. This could include communication, social skills, daily living habits and coping skills to support positive mental health and safety.
Without these valuable supports, they are at increased risk of social isolation, mental illness and a lack of independence, but with these supports, the sky is the limit.
You can make a positive impact by supporting the #ABAforAll campaign.

How your support helps
Right now there is a gap in both the available funding for families and the capacity to serve a growing waitlist of individuals in need of applied behaviour analysis (ABA). By supporting our #ABAforAll Campaign you can help us build the capacity to serve more individuals in our community and make services more accessible to families by reducing the cost.
