FACING YOUR FEARS (ages 8-14) VIRTUAL
Facing Your Fears is a 14-week program for children and parents that uses a cognitive-behavioural group therapy (CBT) approach for the reduction of anxiety symptoms in children with autism spectrum disorders.
Parents will learn about anxiety and common CBT principles used to help their children with anxiety. Children learn how to recognize the symptoms of anxiety and develop coping strategies using the principles of CBT through fun and engaging activities, lessons and home practice.
