COVID-19 UPDATE: LRCSS suspends in-person services effective Jan 10th.

Thursday, January 6, 2022

Over the past week, we have seen a significant increase in the number of staff, clients and families who have become ill due to COVID-19 symptoms. At this time we have decided to suspend all in-person service and move to virtual service effective Monday, January 10, 2022. We will continue to monitor the situation in Ontario and provide another update, regarding service, by Friday, January 14, 2022.

Over the next few days, all services will be moved to a telehealth/virtual platform. A member of your clinical team will be in touch with you to discuss service options and the next steps.

This was a hard decision to make and we know it is not what many families want to hear. We highly value the safety and well-being of all our clients, families and staff and will be doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and the highly contagious variants. We also recognize the impact COVID-19 has been having on hospitals and the healthcare system.

Please continue to follow all guidelines outlined by Ontario Public Health to keep you and your family safe.

Sincerely,
