Keynote Speaker Dr. Judah Axe

Dr. Judah, Axe, Ph.D, MA, B.S. BACB-D, LABA, Associate Professor Simmons University

Our keynote speaker for the day, Dr. Judah Axe’s credentials include an M.A. and Ph.D. in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University.

Today Judah is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in the state of Massachusetts. He is an Associate Professor of Behavior Analysis at Simmons University in Boston, MA, where he has taught for 12 years. He teaches in the on-ground and online master’s programs Behavior Analysis and the Ph.D. program in Behavior Analysis.

Judah conducts research with children with autism and related disabilities in the areas of verbal behavior, social skills, and challenging behavior. He serves on the editorial boards of five behavior analytic journals, including as an associate editor for the European Journal of Behavior Analysis. He has held leadership positions with the Verbal Behavior Special Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), the Program Committee of ABAI, the Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy, and the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies.
